It began during college, working the test counter at a pool and spa store in North Florida, running the same water tests all day on software that was slow, glitchy, and somehow made a simple reading harder than it needed to be. The gap was obvious: stores deserved a clean, modern way to record a test, dose it, and track it over time, instead of the slow, dated software that usually comes with it. So we built the tool that should have been on that counter all along.
